Shadow Filter

The shadow filter reduces false alarms which are caused by shadows on the ground made by the swaying trees, and shadows made by human beings and cars passing by.
In the right side image, the system detects both the cars and the cars' shadows, raising false alarms caused by shadows because the shadow filter is not valid.
In the left side image, because the shadow filter is valid, the system does not raise the alerts against shadows that have shown through but it detects human beings and cars as well.
The blue frame means that the system recognizes them as moving objects but they are not interpreted as an object for surveillance.
